Our Sunday Service

10:00 am

Our worship service follows the liturgy of the Anglican Church.  We use the new lectionary for all scripture readings during the service
Music choices attempt to follow the lead of the lectionary and are decidedly more modern than traditional hymns.   From time to time if appropriate we will use one of the older hymns.
The service follows a liturgy or order that is both very old and very new at the same time.  For an outline here is the order of our service
We open with worship songs and a prayer,  Then we have readings from the bible usually one from the old testament, one of the epistles or letters from the apostles and a reading from the Gospel (the actual words of Jesus as he taught)
This is followed by a sermon, saying of the Nicene Creed and prayers
A time of greeting one another and testimony is held prior to communion or as we call it Holy Eucharist.  During communion we also have more music and song that is usually sung quietly as the elements are distributed to the people at the alter rail.
After communion we are blessed and sent into the world to Christ's work.
A time of fellowship follows in the church hall.
